Lightning forward Dominic Moore fined $2,500

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Tampa Bay Lightning forward Dominic Moore was fined US$2,500 by the NHL on Friday for a hit that injured New York Rangers forward Ruslan Fedotenko on Thursday night.
Moore hit Fedotenko on the chin with his shoulder early in the third period of the Rangers' 4-3 overtime victory. Fedotenko spent about a minute face down on the ice, then was helped off.
Moore was given a minor penalty for roughing.
