Kinkaid stops 26 as Devils beat Bulldogs 4-2

HAMILTON - Keith Kinkaid made 26 saves as the Albany Devils doubled the Hamilton Bulldogs 4-2 in the American Hockey League on Friday.

Steve Zalewski, Chad Wiseman, Nathan Perkovich and Nick Palmieri each scored for the Devils (20-18-8).

Philippe Lefebvre and Andreas Engqvist replied for the Bulldogs (20-22-5).

Zalewski, Wiseman and Perkovich scored unanswered goals to give the Devils a 3-0 lead.

Engqvist got Hamilton on the board at six minutes into the second period, and Lefebvre added another just over two minutes later.

But that was it for the Bulldogs, and Palmieri capped the scoring with an empty-net goal in the final minute of regulation.

Hamilton goaltender Nathan Lawson finished with 16 saves.
