NOVE MESTO, Czech Republic - Marit Bjoergen anchored the dominant Norway team to a comfortable victory in the women's cross-country World Cup relay on Sunday.

The team also included Vibeke Skofterud, Therese Johaug and Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen skiing on the first three legs and pulled away from the rest of the field shortly after the start to win the 4x5-kilometre race in 54 minutes and 51.4 seconds.

Johaug says: "It was great. A nice race and weather."

In a tight fight for second place, the Finland team of Riikka Sarasoja-Lilja, Aino-Kaisa Saarinen, Riitta-Liisa Roponen and Krista Lahteenmaki edged the Norway II team in a photo finish, 32.6 seconds behind.

The men's 4x10-kilometre relay is scheduled for later Sunday.
