06:30 - Josephine wakes first and unlocks the door for their personal Starbucks Barista; Mats likes his lattes made from soy milk and with ground cinnamon on top.

08:00 – Mats reads through several Swedish newspapers and about 100 from North America. Usually he only reads the business sections, but from time to time he will take a look at the latest rumours about the possibility of him playing this year. Also he loves Marmaduke; that silly, silly dog.

10:00 – After he finishes reading his newspapers, he usually (but not always) enjoys 17 hard-boiled eggs with a shake of pepper and a pinch of salt.

10:30 – Depending on the day, he will either drive a golf cart to his home gym, or head to the local rink for some skating. Once on the ice he usually goes through a strict regiment of drills to keep in shape, and to add fuel to speculation that he might play in the NHL this year.

12:00 – LUNCH TIME! After his work out, Mats usually enjoys a fresh apple and three roasted ducks. If he's feeling a bit peckish, he'll just eat the apple.

13:30 – Mats, like myself, finds benefit in a quick cat-nap. When I see Mats head to his favourite couch for a quick twenty-minute snooze, I will kick back on my branch and use an old bird's nest I found as a pillow.

14:00 – Feeling fresh and full of energy, Mats and Josephine usually go for a quick jog, I couldn't tell you where they go however, as I can't keep up with their athletic pace. Usually I take this opportunity to look for some signed memorabilia he may have thrown out.

15:15 – Oh shoot, the police. I crouch down and hide behind Mats' mailbox.

15:16 – I am in the back of a police car.

16:00 – I am back in the bushes. I had to explain that I was selling window insurance door-to-door. You never know when a window might break!

16:45 – Mats and Josephine emerge from the house, and get into their double-decker luxury car. They go for a quick jaunt to the grocery store.

16:58 – I am hiding in the giant trunk of their vehicle.

17:45 – The trunk opens and Mats begins putting an assortment of healthy food into the car. Luckily the trunk is so big that I can hide in the back corner behind his hockey bag. Also; Mats needs to wash his hockey socks.

19:00 – Back at the house, it is dinner time. Mats is having Cliff Fletcher over for a chat, and I can see he has prepared a nice dinner of lobster. Prunes for dessert to help Cliff with his digestion.

20:58 – Now Mats and Cliff are break-dancing in the living room to ABBA.

20:59 – Looks like Cliff pulled a hammy.

21:45 – Cliff limps to his waiting taxi. Mats and Josephine wave goodbye.

22:42 – They start to get ready for bed; out of respect I turn away and reflect on my day.

23:30 – After watching Sportcentre in bed, the lights are out and I assume they are peacefully sleeping.

23:38 – I am dozing off. I really hope I don't fall out of the tree in the middle of the night...again.
